  • Valley Minor Football Association: purchased 30 sets of helmets, shoulder pads and pants

  • Valley Region Skate NS: held a skater development clinic, bringing world level skating instructors to work with Nova Scotia figure skaters and coaches

  • Aylesford Lake Yacht Club: purchased two 420 class sailboats so that the club can offer programming as reflected in the Canadian Yachting Association Long Term Athlete Development Model

  • Kentville Minor Baseball: developed infrastructure

  • Wolfville Athletics: purchased racing chairs for para-athletes

  • Wolfville Triathlon Club held a Triathlon 101 Run & Swim Clinic to promote
    • Shannon Read is the Wolfville Triathlon Club contact
  • Glooscap Curling Club further developed their junior program with the hiring of a Technical Director.
  • Valley Recreation Coordinators/Directors Association (VRCDA) held a number of Gymnastic Nova Scotia Tumblebug workshops.
  • Annapolis East Archery Club started an archery club based out of the Middleton area.

2010

  • Clare Minor Baseball Association developed a baseball program utilizing four fields including Church Point, Saulnierville, Little Brook Social Club and Ecole Secondaire de Clare.
  • The Town of Bridgetown hosted a Female Hockey Development Program that incorporated Hockey Nova Scotia's program Female Skills First.
    • Janice Fancy is the contact of the Bridgetown Female Hockey Development Program
  • Annapolis Valley Shooting Sport Club hosted the Canadian National 3D Archery Championships in Canaan from July 30th through August 4th The upgrades for hosting the event have the potential to benefit all three local facilities – Annapolis Valley Shooting Sport Club, Greenwood Archery Club and Glooscap Archery Club
  • Digby Area Recreation Commission hosted a sailing school for youth ages 6 to 14. Digby was one of the six communities in Nova Scotia to take part in the Mobile Sailing School.
  • Glooscap Curling Club started a Little Rocks program which enabled the Curling Club to purchase appropriate rocks for appropriate age and development level.
  • North Kings Minor Baseball Association started a league for participants in Canning and Centreville area
  • Annapolis District Soccer started a winter soccer program to charter a bus from Annapolis Royal to Kentville for the training trips and mini games with the Valley District Soccer Association Technical Director Angela Morrison
  • Weymouth Amateur Athletic Association started a baseball program for families in the Weymouth area
