March Cleve’s Source for Sports

Athlete of the Month winners announced

HALIFAX, NS (April 18th, 2018) Trysten Deveau, of Church Point has been named the Cleve’s Source for Sports Female Individual Athlete of the Month. The twenty year-old karate athlete recently competed at the 2018 Canadian National Karate Championships in Halifax where she won gold in the senior kumite 55kg division and the U21 kumite 55kg division. Deveau trains out of Bushino Ki Karate in Church Point.  READ MORE

Liam Moffatt, Emily Todd, Blayre Turnbull named

Cleve’s Source for Sports Athletes of the Month for February

HALIFAX, NS (March 19, 2018) – Snowboarder Liam Moffatt of Londonderry was named the Cleve’s Source for Sports Male Individual Athlete of the Month. The twenty-year-old recently competed at the two-day Mount Orignal Nor-Am in Quebec, where he finished in first place on day one and second-place on day two. The international event hosted 88 competitors from five countries. Moffat is currently sitting in the fourth-place overall ranking for the Nor-Am Cup title.  READ MORE
