The Corporate Games is dedicated to promoting healthy communities through sport by supporting Sport Nova Scotia in the delivery of grassroots sport programs.
The 1st annual Corporate Games will take place Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 at the Canada Games Centre. The event provides businesses with an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day competing in activities, games and challenges, all in support of amateur sport!
With the emphasis on fun and participation, teams will compete in a series of non-traditional team building events and challenges such as volleyball in the dark, ping tac toe, 9 legged race and human foosball! The games will promote the interaction of co-workers, build morale, and instill company pride.
Teams consist of eight participants and must include a minimum of three males and three females. A maximum of 36 teams will be accepted in the first year.
Teams earn points based on the performance in the challenges with the possibility of earning bonus points for fundraising. The team with the highest accumulated point score is declared the overall games champion. Prizes are awarded for the top teams and fundraisers.
In addition to fun and games, teams receive t-shirts, refreshments, lunch, gifts, awards and prizes!
