October 12, 2021- Halifax, NS - Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport Award Recipients Announced

Canoe-Kayak athlete, Jenna Lamontagne is the Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport recipient for October 2021.

The 14-year-old displayed perseverance while competing in the U16 C1 6000m event at the 2021 Atlantic Championships. Due to a chaotic mass start, Jenna’s boat capsized in the opening 200m. Read more.

Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport Award Recipients Announced

August 2021

Esmee Matuk, Luc Dupuis, and Bella Pashkoski are the Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport recipients for August 2021. 

Esmee Matuk is a dedicated member of the Atlantis Artistic Swimming Club. At 11 years old, she shows leadership by taking the initiative to set up Zoom calls to keep her teammates connected and cheering them on in an uncertain competitive season. Esmee’s wholeheartedness towards the sport and her teammates is an inspiration this season. 

Luc Dupuis leads by example, inspiring his fellow skaters to work hard and be the best that they can be. Recently, Luc volunteered to announce a competition for other skaters while also competing himself. Having a skater behind the mic gave the other skaters a sense of comfort while returning to competition.

Karate athlete, Bella Pashkoski is constantly trying to better herself, going the extra mile. Short in stature, Bella makes up for it with a taller-than-life, can-do attitude. Quick with a smile and fast with a kick, she is always ready to help and show younger students how something is to be done. Bella is a shining example of hard work and dedication. When her coach injured himself, she offered to demonstrate all techniques as he was unable.  READ MORE
