Cleves Source for Sports Athlete of the Month for August announced

(Halifax, September 24, 2018)- Sailor, Noah Adler  is the Male Individual Athlete of the Month for August. The 13-year-old from Prospect won gold at the 2018 Canadian Optimist Championships in Squamish from August 19-22. This open regatta hosted 92 competitors from three countries. Noah’s success qualified him to represent Canada again next summer in the same competition hosted by Antigua and Barbuda. READ MORE

Cleve’s Source for Sports Athletes of the Month for July announced

(Halifax, August 22, 2018) - Para wheelchair racer, Ben Brown is the Male Individual Athlete of the Month for July. The 31-year-old Cambridge, NS native won gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 400m and silver in the 800m at the Canadian Track and Field National Championships. Brown’s performance makes him the most accomplished Nova Scotian in terms of podium wins at a national championship. The event took place in Ottawa and hosted 200 competitors from 20 teams. READ MORE

Athlete of the Month winners announced

HALIFAX, NS (May 25th, 2018) – Ellie Black of Halifax has been named Cleve’s Source for Sports Female Individual Athlete of the Month. The twenty-two year-old gymnast recently competed at her second Commonwealth Games where she won gold in the women’s all-around and a silver medal on the vault. Black also made history as she was a part of Team Canada in the women’s team final where Canada won gold for the first time in 28 years.  READ MORE
