	In the 14 years of the event, the Holiday on the Harbour Charity Ball has given over $450,000 to local charities. Since their second year, the main beneficiary of the event has been KidSport™. Holiday on the Harbour have given KidSport™ over $135,000 in the past ten years.
	The Maritime NHL'ers for Kids is a non-profit society with the mandate is to provide financial support to each of the 3 Maritime provinces, annually, so that children of economically-challenged families can afford to participate in minor hockey. Their main event is an annual celebrity-fundraising golf tournament and dinner-auction featuring 36 NHL stars...including many present and past stars from the Maritimes. In six years, over $62,000 has been raised for KidSport™
	Doctors Nova Scotia presented the inaugural Taste of Gold on November 4, 2008, and successfully celebrated all things ‘Nova Scotia’. Taste of Gold aims to raise funds for Nova Scotia athletes, from the playground to the podium .  All proceeds to the Fund will stay right here in Nova Scotia, and will support two programs vital to our sporting system: Sport Nova Scotia’s KidSport program,  which provides resources for children to take part in sport, and the Taste of Gold Fund, which supports high performance sport training groups through the Canadian Sports Centre Atlantic (CSCA). By providing funds to Nova Scotia children, training groups, athletes and coaches, athletes at every level will be positively impacted. The Taste of Gold program includes athlete visits to local schools, and an evening event at which guests ‘tour’ regionally inspired food stations from across the province, talk to Olympic athletes and local chefs, bid on exciting auction packages and enjoy entertainment.  For more information, please contact tasteofgold@zed.ca.
	A KidSport supporter since 2002, Boston Pizza raises funds for KidSport each year as Title Sponsor of the Boston Pizza Balloon Bust.  Held in conjuntion with the RICOH Sport Awards, balloons are sold to event attendees with participants eligible to win great prizes.  Since inception, the program has raised over $30,000 for KidSport.
Golf Classic	Each year, the annual Fortis Golf Classic is held at Lingan Golf and Country Club in Sydney. A major fundraising event in support of Cape Breton University Athletics, a portion of the proceeds is directed to KidSport. Since the event began, KidSport has received more than $50,000 from the Fortis Golf Classic
	The Halifax Running Room's Hypothermic Half Marathon is an increasingly popular winter running event held each February in HRM. Approximately 400 runners and walkers gather to partake in the chilly 21.1km race, now in its fourth successful year.  Like KidSport, the Running Room focuses on assisting individuals in developing active, healthy lifestyles, making KidSport a more than fitting beneficiary.
	Hockey Nova Scotia and their 33 Minor Hockey Associations have teamed up to raise funds for KidSport.  Each MHA donated one dollar per registered player to KidSport to provide children who otherwise may not have the opportunity the chance to experience the thrill of ice hockey. Hockey Nova Scotia presented Sport Nova Scotia CEO, Jamie Ferguson with a cheque for $19,840.00 at the Hockey Nova Scotia Annual Awards Banquet on May 14, 2011.
	Soccer Nova Scotia has partnered with their Minor Soccer Associations and Clubs to donate $0.50 per registered player to KidSport.  The funds will allow more children in Nova Scotia to participate in the sport of Soccer.  KidSport provides registration fees to nearly 300 children each year so that they may participate in the sport of Soccer.  $13,739 was donated to KidSport in 2010 by Soccer Nova Scotia.
