November 12, 2021- Halifax, NS - Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport Award Recipient Announced

 Softball player, Brody Fraser is the Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport winner for November 2021.   


Brody is a dedicated member of the Nova Scotia Canada Games Softball Player Pool and has been instrumental in leading the way to a successful summer in 2021 before the Canada Games in 2022.  


Brody is a great role model for younger Softball players. This summer, he pitched a no-hitter and joined a group of 10-year-olds playing softball in the park after the game as part of his celebration.  


At just 17-years-old, Brody is already an inspiration to other athletes with a record-setting year in the Shooters' Bar and Grill Fastpitch League (SBGFL). He has been a leader at individual pitching, hitting sessions, and in games. He helped lead the Canada Games team to a first-place finish in the SBGFL with a regular-season record of 16-5.

Good Sport Award 

  • The Cleve’s Source for Sports Good Sport Award program is administered by Sport Nova Scotia. 

  • Provincial sport organization members are eligible to nominate athletes for these awards. 

  • The Good Sport Award has temporarily replaced The Athlete of the Month Award. It is given to an athlete(s) who went above and beyond for their teammates or community during the pandemic. 

  • A membership committee selects the award recipients.
